The Capitals earned a 3-2 victory over the Senators on Monday at Verizon Center.

On the power play, Washington went 0-for-5, while the Senators were 0-for-5 with the man advantage.

Washington lost the shots on goal battle to Ottawa by a margin of 31-26.

Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Islanders. The Senators will aim to get back on the winning track vs Carolina.
