Hoosiers knock down Hilltoppers
Kellen Lewis threw for two touchdowns and ran for a pair Saturday, as the Indiana Hoosiers cruised past the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 31-13 in their season-opener.
Indiana failed to cover the 18-point spread, and the combined 44 points fell UNDER the day’s posted total of 53.5.
Lewis completed 17-of-27 pass attempts for 144 yards, and ran the ball 10 times for 186 yards for the Hoosiers.
K.J. Black made good on 19-of-31 pass attempts for 218 yards and a touchdown for the Hilltoppers.
