Ben Chappell threw for 342 yards to lead the Hoosiers over Akron 35-20 on Saturday in Week 4 action at Memorial Stadium.

Darius Willis rushed for 87 yards, while Tandon Doss added 9 yards in the win. Terrance Turner and Duwyce Wilson added 121 and 68 receiving yards respectively.
Alex Allen rushed for 80 yards for Akron, while Nate Burney added 62 yards. Patrick Nicely threw for 175 yards for the Zips, while receivers Gary Pride and Jeremy LaFrance had 54 and 46 yards respectively.
Akron was outgained by Indiana 426-335 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-18 by the Hoosiers.
Indiana led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:00/29:00 split in that important category.
Indiana heads into a Week 5 battle against Michigan. Akron, meanwhile, will have their next action against Northern Illinois.
