Hoosiers Fall 16-10 Against Penn State - Game Recap

Penn State got a 129-yard performance from Silas Redd as a key part of its 16-10 victory over the Hoosiers on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

Penn State did not, however, defeat the Hoosiers against the spread, which closed at 14 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.5.

Matt McGloin completed 10 of 22 pass attempts for 204 yards for the Nittany Lions in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Stephen Houston rushed for 60 yards for Indiana, while Dusty Kiel added 21 yards. Dusty Kiel threw for 184 yards for the Hoosiers, while receivers Damarlo Belcher and Ted Bolser had 60 and 46 yards respectively.

Indiana lost the offensive yardage battle to Penn State 464-256 yards in Saturday's game. Penn State had more first downs as that total ended up 22-16.

The time of possession battle favored Penn State as their offense was on the field for 37:27, longer than the 22:33 of their opponents.

Penn State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Iowa. Indiana will aim to get back on the winning track vs Illinois.
