Northwestern comes out on top in catfight
The Northwestern Wildcats scored four touchdowns in the fourth quarter en route to a 38-14 win over the Ohio Bobcats on Saturday afternoon.
Northwestern opened the season as 14.5-point favorites but fell just short on covering the spread. The combined score of 52 went OVER the posted total (46.5).
Brett Basanez completed 27 of 37 passes for 353 yards and two touchdowns and ran in for another to lead the way for Northwestern.
Tyrell Sutton had 104 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 17 carries, while Shaun Herbert had seven catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Dion Byrum returned a fumble for a 62-yard touchdown in the loss for Ohio.
