Calgary got goals from Olli Jokinen, Alex Tanguay, Niklas Hagman, Tim Jackman, and Matt Stajan in the loss, but it wasn't enough.
Henrik Karlsson stopped 30 of 36 shots for the Flames, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
On the power play, Colorado went 1-for-6, while the Flames were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.
