Chicago Falls 4-3 to Predators - Recap

It came down to a shootout and Pekka Rinne foiled the opposition in a 4-3 victory for Nashville over Chicago Saturday.

The Predators were a +108 underdog in the win. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 5.5.

The win was clinched by Cal O'Reilly, who beat Marty Turco in a shootout to gain the extra point in the standings for Nashville. Nashville got goals from Shea Weber, Shane O'Brien, and Cody Franson in the victory. O'Brien opened the scoring at 2:37 of the second period.

Pekka Rinne stopped 29 of 32 Chicago shots in the victory.

Jack Skille (2) and Viktor Stalberg scored for the Blackhawks, finding the net behind Pekka Rinne.

Chicago got a 30-stop effort from Marty Turco in the loss.

On the power play, Nashville went 1-for-3, while the Blackhawks were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Nashville outshot Chicago 33-32 in the game.

Next game, Nashville takes its act on the road to face Toronto looking for another win. For Chicago, they head home to face Anaheim.
