Colorado Skates Past St. Louis 6-3 - Recap

Colorado got a pair of goals from John-Michael Liles as the Avalanche skated to a 6-3 victory over St. Louis on Monday at Pepsi Center.

Colorado won as a -116 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

John-Michael Liles (2), Paul Stastny, David Jones, Kevin Porter, and Brandon Yip each scored for the Avalanche in the victory. Liles opened the scoring for Colorado, finding the back of the net at 5:05 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Greg Mauldin and Chris Stewart.

Peter Budaj stopped 27 of 30 St. Louis shots in the victory.

On the power play, Colorado went 1-for-4, while the Blues were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Colorado lost the shots on goal battle to St. Louis by a margin of 30-23.

Colorado heads into a battle against the Sharks. St. Louis, meanwhile, will have their next action against Detroit.
