Montreal's defense, led by netminder Carey Price, shut down Philadelphia 3-0 at Bell Centre on on Tuesday.

Montreal won as a -117 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Brian Gionta, Michael Cammalleri, and Tomas Plekanec each scored for the Canadiens in the victory. Cammalleri opened the scoring for Montreal, finding the back of the net at 9:36 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Brian Gionta and Andrei Kostitsyn.

Carey Price turned in a 41-save effort for the Canadiens.

Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 25 of 28 shots for the Flyers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Montreal went 2-for-6, while the Flyers were 0-for-8 with the man advantage.

Montreal lost the shots on goal battle to Philadelphia by a margin of 41-28.

Next game, Montreal takes its act home to face Nashville looking for another win. For Philadelphia, they head home to face Tampa Bay.
