Daniel Winnik, David Jones, Kevin Shattenkirk, Kevin Porter, and Matt Duchene each scored for the Avalanche in the victory. Jones opened the scoring for Colorado, finding the back of the net at 1:04 of the second period. The goal was assisted by Chris Stewart.
Craig Anderson turned in a 25-save effort for the Avalanche.
New York got a goal from Derek Stepan in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Colorado looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Stars. The Rangers will aim to get back on the winning track at Minnesota.
