New York got goals from Rob Schremp and Jesse Joensuu in the victory. Joensuu opened the scoring at 1:32 of the first period.

New York lost the shots on goal battle to New Jersey by a margin of 29-20.
Next game, New York takes its act home to face New York looking for another win. For New Jersey, they head home to face Philadelphia.
