Calgary got goals from Jarome Iginla, Niklas Hagman, and Jay Bouwmeester in the victory. Bouwmeester opened the scoring at 3:08 of the second period.
Miikka Kiprusoff turned in a 32-save effort for the Flames.
Jose Theodore stopped 28 of 31 shots for the Wild, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
On the power play, Calgary went 1-for-3, while the Wild were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.
Calgary lost the shots on goal battle to Minnesota by a margin of 32-31.
Calgary looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Canucks. The Wild will aim to get back on the winning track vs Phoenix.
