The battle between the Oilers and Maple Leafs didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Toronto was handed a 5-0 defeat on Thursday at Air Canada Centre.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 10 of 13 shots for the Maple Leafs, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Edmonton lost the shots on goal battle to Toronto by a margin of 33-19.

Next game, Edmonton takes its act home to face St. Louis looking for another win. For Toronto, they head home to face Boston.
