Vancouver's defense, led by netminder Roberto Luongo, shut down Chicago 3-0 at United Center on on Friday.

The Canucks were a +115 underdog in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Henrik Sedin, Christian Ehrhoff, and Tanner Glass each scored for the Canucks in the victory. Glass opened the scoring for Vancouver, finding the back of the net at 11:18 of the second period. The goal was assisted by Jannik Hansen and Dan Hamhuis.

Roberto Luongo stopped 32 of 32 Chicago shots in the victory.

Marty Turco stopped 15 of 18 shots for the Blackhawks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Vancouver went 1-for-5, while the Blackhawks were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Vancouver lost the shots on goal battle to Chicago by a margin of 32-18.

Next game, Vancouver takes its act home to face St. Louis looking for another win. For Chicago, they head home to face Calgary.
