Tampa Bay vs Vancouver Recap - Lightning Win 5-4

Tampa Bay got a pair of goals from Steven Stamkos as the Lightning skated to a 5-4 victory over Vancouver on Saturday at Rogers Arena.

Steven Stamkos (2), Brett Clark, Nate Thompson, and Teddy Purcell each scored for the Lightning in the victory. Thompson opened the scoring for Tampa Bay, finding the back of the net at 14:05 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Ryan Malone and Randy Jones.

Vancouver outshot Tampa Bay 27-23 in the game.

Tampa Bay looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Thrashers. The Canucks will aim to get back on the winning track at Edmonton.
