Bears Fall 49-21 Against TCU - Game Recap
TCU cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 49-21 score against Baylor in Week 7 action at Floyd Casey Stadium.
TCU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 6-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 68.5.
Trevone Boykin completed 22 of 30 pass attempts for 261 yards for the Horned Frogs in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Jarred Salubi rushed for 61 yards for Baylor, while Lache Seastrunk added 30 yards. Nick Florence threw for 289 yards for the Bears, while receivers Terrance Williams and Tevin Reese had 163 and 75 yards respectively.
Baylor was outgained by TCU 509-432 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 29-21 by the Horned Frogs.
Baylor lost the time of possession battle 41:52/18:08, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, TCU takes its act home to face Texas Tech looking for another win. For Baylor, they head on the road to face Texas.
