Wild Fall 3-1 Against Ottawa - Game Recap

The Wild came up short Thursday against the Senators, falling 3-1.

The Senators were a +110 underdog in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Daniel Alfredsson, Chris Kelly, and Nick Foligno each scored for the Senators in the victory. Alfredsson opened the scoring for Ottawa, finding the back of the net at 6:11 of the second period. The goal was assisted by Mike Fisher and Erik Karlsson.

Pascal Leclaire turned in a 23-save effort for the Senators.

Minnesota got a goal from Kyle Brodziak in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Jose Theodore stopped 22 of 24 shots for the Wild, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Ottawa went 2-for-2, while the Wild were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Ottawa outshot Minnesota 25-24 in the game.

Ottawa looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Avalanche. The Wild will aim to get back on the winning track at Calgary.
