Cyclones blow past Army
Ryan Kock rushed for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to give the No. 22 Iowa State Cyclones a 28-21 victory over the Army Black Knights on Friday.
The Cyclones were listed as 18-point favorites in this one but failed to cover the spread in the win. The combined score of 49 went OVER the posted total (47).
Brett Meyer completed 18-of-26 passes for 157 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Greg Coleman and Austin Flynn had touchdown receptions for the Cyclones.
Zac Dahman threw for 234 yards and tossed touchdown passes to Scott Wesley and Walter Hill in the loss.
