San Jose Falls 4-0 to Kings - Recap

The battle between the Kings and Sharks didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as San Jose was handed a 4-0 defeat on Monday at HP Pavilion.

The Kings were a +140 underdog in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Los Angeles got goals from Dustin Brown (2), Marco Sturm, and Trevor Lewis in the victory. Lewis opened the scoring at 2:08 of the third period.

Jonathan Quick stopped 24 of 24 San Jose shots in the victory.

San Jose got a 33-stop effort from Antti Niemi in the loss.

On the power play, Los Angeles went 0-for-3, while the Sharks were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Los Angeles outshot San Jose 37-24 in the game.

Los Angeles looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Coyotes. The Sharks will aim to get back on the winning track at Minnesota.
