Vancouver Skates Past San Jose 4-3 - Recap

Vancouver skated to a 4-3 victory over San Jose on Monday in NHL action at HP Pavilion.

Vancouver won as a +125 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Daniel Sedin, Alexandre Burrows, Alexander Edler, and Jannik Hansen each scored for the Canucks in the victory. Sedin opened the scoring for Vancouver, finding the back of the net at 6:09 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Henrik Sedin and Alexandre Burrows.

Cory Schneider turned in a 32-save effort for the Canucks.

Jamal Mayers, Patrick Marleau, and Ryane Clowe scored for the Sharks, finding the net behind Cory Schneider.

Antti Niemi stopped 43 of 47 shots for the Sharks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Vancouver went 1-for-3, while the Sharks were 1-for-2 with the man advantage.

Vancouver outshot San Jose 47-35 in the game.

Vancouver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Flames. The Sharks will aim to get back on the winning track vs Buffalo.
