Toronto got goals from Clarke MacArthur (2), Mikhail Grabovski (2), Nikolai Kulemin (2), Colby Armstrong, Kris Versteeg, and Phil Kessel in the victory. Versteeg opened the scoring at 9:43 of the first period.
James Reimer stopped 41 of 44 Atlanta shots in the victory.
Andrew Ladd, Tobias Enstrom, and Patrice Cormier scored for the Thrashers, finding the net behind James Reimer.
Ondrej Pavelec stopped 19 of 24 shots for the Thrashers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
On the power play, Toronto went 5-for-7, while the Thrashers were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
Atlanta outshot Toronto 44-34 in the game.
Toronto looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Kings. The Thrashers will aim to get back on the winning track at Carolina.
