Calgary earned a 2-1 victory over Toronto on Saturday, but needed a shootout to do it at Air Canada Centre.

Calgary was an underdog by +120 and came through for bettors backing them. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 5.5.

The win was clinched by Olli Jokinen, who beat Jean-Sebastien Giguere in a shootout to gain the extra point in the standings for Calgary. Matt Stajan scored for the Flames in the victory. Stajan opened the scoring for Calgary, finding the back of the net at 13:07 of the third period. The goal was assisted by Niklas Hagman and Curtis Glencross.

Miikka Kiprusoff turned in a 32-save effort for the Flames.

Mikhail Grabovski scored for the Maple Leafs, finding the net behind Miikka Kiprusoff.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 32 of 33 shots for the Maple Leafs, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Calgary went 0-for-3, while the Maple Leafs were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Next game, Calgary takes its act on the road to face Montreal looking for another win. For Toronto, they head on the road to face New York.
