The battle between the Wild and Canucks didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Vancouver was handed a 4-0 defeat on Sunday at Xcel Energy Center.

Minnesota got goals from Andrew Brunette, Matt Cullen, John Madden, and Martin Havlat in the victory. Brunette opened the scoring at 3:31 of the second period.
Anton Khudobin turned in a 32-save effort for the Wild.
Cory Schneider stopped 21 of 25 shots for the Canucks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.
Minnesota scored 1 time on 3 chances on the power play, while Vancouver went 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
Minnesota lost the shots on goal battle to Vancouver by a margin of 32-25.
