Nashville vs Edmonton Recap - Predators Win 3-2

Nashville earned a 3-2 victory over Edmonton on Sunday, but needed a shootout to do it at Rexall Place.

The Predators were a -155 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Cody Franson clinched the win with a shootout goal in round 2 for the Predators. Nashville got goals from Joel Ward and Alexander Sulzer in the victory. Sulzer opened the scoring at 11:53 of the first period.

Pekka Rinne turned in a 22-save effort for the Predators.

Andrew Cogliano and Taylor Hall scored for the Oilers, finding the net behind Pekka Rinne.

Devan Dubnyk stopped 26 of 28 shots for the Oilers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Nashville scored 1 time on 5 chances on the power play, while Edmonton went 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Edmonton lost the shots on goal battle to Nashville by a margin of 28-24.

Next game, Nashville takes its act on the road to face Calgary looking for another win. For Edmonton, they head on the road to face Phoenix.
