Recap - Sharks Defeat Anaheim 4-3

San Jose skated to a 4-3 victory over Anaheim on Wednesday in NHL action at Honda Center.

San Jose won as a -107 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Dany Heatley, Ben Eager, Ryane Clowe, and Jason Demers each scored for the Sharks in the victory. Heatley opened the scoring for San Jose, finding the back of the net at 0:14 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Joe Thornton and Douglas Murray.

Antti Niemi turned in a 27-save effort for the Sharks.

Joffrey Lupul, Bobby Ryan, and Cam Fowler scored for the Ducks, finding the net behind Antti Niemi.

Curtis McElhinney stopped 17 of 18 shots for the Ducks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, San Jose went 1-for-2, while the Ducks were 1-for-5 with the man advantage.

Anaheim outshot San Jose 30-28 in the game.

San Jose heads into a battle against the Bruins. Anaheim, meanwhile, will have their next action against Colorado.
