Big start lifts Chippewas
Central Michigan jumped out to a 28-0 lead and never looked back in a 42-26 win over Temple at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday.
The Chippewas did not cover the 20.5-point spread on the road, and the 68 points scored were OVER the posted total of 51.
Dan LeFevour had a splendid day, going 18-for-22 for 269 yards, four touchdowns, and a pick, and Ontario Sneed ran for 141 yards and a score, as well as gaining 93 yards through the air and three majors for the Chippewas.
Adam DiMichele went 24-for-35 for 228 yards and three touchdowns, and Tim Brown rushed for 100 yards on 23 carries, while also throwing for a score for the Owls.
