Tim Jackman scored a pair of goals against the Senators as Calgary handed Ottawa a 5-2 defeat on Wednesday at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Calgary won as a -188 favorite, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Calgary got goals from Tim Jackman (2), Olli Jokinen, Anton Babchuk, and Curtis Glencross in the victory. Jackman opened the scoring at 8:40 of the first period.

Miikka Kiprusoff turned in a 24-save effort for the Flames.

Ottawa got goals from Chris Kelly and Chris Campoli in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Ottawa got a 30-stop effort from Robin Lehner in the loss.

On the power play, Calgary went 3-for-5, while the Senators were 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Ottawa lost the shots on goal battle to Calgary by a margin of 35-26.

Calgary looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Ducks. The Senators will aim to get back on the winning track at Edmonton.
