Detroit cruised to victory on Friday, earning an easy 6-1 win over the Bruins at TD Garden.

Todd Bertuzzi (2), Tomas Holmstrom, Danny Cleary, Jiri Hudler, and Henrik Zetterberg each scored for the Red Wings in the victory. Bertuzzi opened the scoring for Detroit, finding the back of the net at 1:10 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Johan Franzen and Henrik Zetterberg.

David Krejci scored for the Bruins, finding the net behind Jimmy Howard.

Tuukka Rask stopped 14 of 19 shots for the Bruins, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Detroit outshot Boston 34-26 in the game.
