Edmonton Falls 4-0 to Ducks - Recap

The battle between the Ducks and Oilers didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Edmonton was handed a 4-0 defeat on Sunday at Rexall Place.

Anaheim was favored by -140 and came through for bettors backing them. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 5.5.

Bobby Ryan (2), Teemu Selanne, and Brandon McMillan each scored for the Ducks in the victory. Selanne opened the scoring for Anaheim, finding the back of the net at 0:34 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Jason Blake and Andreas Lilja.

Jonas Hiller turned in a 12-save effort for the Ducks.

Devan Dubnyk stopped 11 of 15 shots for the Oilers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Anaheim went 0-for-4, while the Oilers were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Edmonton lost the shots on goal battle to Anaheim by a margin of 22-12.

Next game, Anaheim takes its act home to face Washington looking for another win. For Edmonton, they head home to face Dallas.
