Fighting Irish pound Boilermakers
Brady Quinn passed for 440 yards and three touchdowns Saturday night to lead the No. 13 Notre Dame Fighting Irish to a 49-28 win over the No. 22 Purdue Boilermakers.

Quinn went 29-of-36 in the win, and tossed one interception. Jeff Samardzija (two) and John Carlson had TD catches. Rashon Powers-Neal (two), Travis Thomas, and Darius Walker ran for Notre Dame scores.
For the Boilermakers, Brandon Kirsch completed 29-of-44 pass attempts for 276 yards. Kirsch tossed two TD strikes to Dorien Bryant, and Kory Sheets picked up two rushing touchdowns.
