Scottie Upshall scored for the Blue Jackets, finding the net behind Roberto Luongo.

Steve Mason stopped 25 of 26 shots for the Blue Jackets, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

Vancouver lost the shots on goal battle to Columbus by a margin of 31-26.

Vancouver heads into a battle against the Predators. Columbus, meanwhile, will have their next action against Edmonton.
