Flames vs Stars Final: 4-3 - Recap

Calgary needed a shootout to earn a 4-3 victory over Dallas on Wednesday in NHL action at American Airlines Center.

Calgary won as a +100 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

The win was clinched by Curtis Glencross, who beat Kari Lehtonen in a shootout to gain the extra point in the standings for Calgary. Calgary got goals from Tom Kostopoulos, Anton Babchuk, and Rene Bourque in the victory. Bourque opened the scoring at 10:26 of the first period.

Miikka Kiprusoff turned in a 31-save effort for the Flames.

Mike Ribeiro, Jamie Benn, and Tomas Vincour scored for the Stars, finding the net behind Miikka Kiprusoff.

Kari Lehtonen stopped 31 of 34 shots for the Stars, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Calgary went 0-for-1, while the Stars were 1-for-3 with the man advantage.

Calgary looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Coyotes. The Stars will aim to get back on the winning track vs Minnesota.
