Alabama came back from a 10-3 halftime deficit by using stingy defence to defeat the Vanderbilt Commodores 13-10 at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.
The Crimson Tide did not cover the 15.5-point spread at home, and the 23 total points were UNDER the posted total of 41.
John Parker Wilson was 18-for-29 for 210 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Keith Brown had nine receptions for 98 yards for the Crimson Tide.
Chris Nickson threw for 136 yards on 14-for-22 passing, one touchdown and three interceptions. Earl Bennett caught five balls for 46 yards and a score for the Commodores.
