Crimson Tide squeak past Rebels
John Parker Wilson threw for a season-high 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns to help lead the Alabama Crimson Tide to a 24-20 win over the Mississippi Rebels 24-20 on Saturday afternoon.
The Tide failed to cover the 11.5-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the day's posted total of 48.
Alabama scored 24 consecutive points after falling behind for the first time, 3-0, and allowing its first points in an opening quarter.
Jevan Snead threw for 192 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Rebels.
