Panthers Fall 4-0 Against Chicago - Game Recap

Hockey bettors who backed the Blackhawks on the moneyline Wednesday didn’t have to sweat out a close game, as Chicago easily handled Florida 4-0 at United Center.

The Blackhawks were a -280 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Chicago got goals from Tomas Kopecky, Brent Seabrook, Patrick Kane, and Viktor Stalberg in the victory. Seabrook opened the scoring at 14:41 of the second period.

Corey Crawford turned in a 23-save effort for the Blackhawks.

Tomas Vokoun stopped 27 of 31 shots for the Panthers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Chicago went 1-for-4, while the Panthers were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Florida lost the shots on goal battle to Chicago by a margin of 31-23.

Next game, Chicago takes its act home to face Anaheim looking for another win. For Florida, they head on the road to face Buffalo.
