New York Ices Philadelphia 3-2 - Recap

New York needed a shootout to earn a 3-2 victory over Philadelphia on Sunday in NHL action at Wells Fargo Center.

New York won as a +115 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Wojtek Wolski potted the shootout winner for New York. New York got goals from Bryan McCabe and Ruslan Fedotenko in the victory. McCabe opened the scoring at 19:59 of the first period.

Henrik Lundqvist turned in a 32-save effort for the Rangers.

Philadelphia got goals from Nikolay Zherdev and James van Riemsdyk in the loss, but it wasn't enough.

Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 32 of 34 shots for the Flyers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, New York went 1-for-3, while the Flyers were 1-for-4 with the man advantage.

New York heads into a battle against the Bruins. Philadelphia, meanwhile, will have their next action against Ottawa.
