Buffalo vs Georgia Recap - Bulldogs Win 45-23
Todd Gurley tore up the turf for 100 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bulldogs to a 45-23 win over the Bulls at Sanford Stadium.
The Bulldogs earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 38.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 55.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Aaron Murray completed 15 of 26 pass attempts for 258 yards for the Bulldogs in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Branden Oliver rushed for 111 yards for Buffalo, while Alex Zordich added 83 yards. Alex Zordich threw for 148 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Jimmy Gordon and Alex Neutz had 63 and 52 yards respectively.
Buffalo was outgained by Georgia 485-347 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-17 by the Bulldogs.
Georgia lost the time of possession battle 32:07/27:53, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Georgia looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Missouri. Buffalo will aim to get back on the winning track vs Morgan St.
