Brent Johnson stopped 37 of 39 shots fired at him by Atlanta, as the Penguins skated to a 5-2 victory Sunday at Philips Arena.

Pittsburgh won as a +102 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 5.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Mike Comrie, Pascal Dupuis, Michael Rupp, Tyler Kennedy, and Mark Letestu each scored for the Penguins in the victory. Kennedy opened the scoring for Pittsburgh, finding the back of the net at 6:25 of the second period. The goal was assisted by Matt Niskanen and Ben Lovejoy.

Chris Mason stopped 15 of 19 shots for the Thrashers, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Pittsburgh went 1-for-3, while the Thrashers were 2-for-5 with the man advantage.
