Georgia Tech sneaks past Clemson
P.J. Daniels ran for a three-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter to lead the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to a 10-9 win over the Clemson Tigers on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets were listed as 2.5-point favorites in this one but failed to cover the spread. The game’s final score sailed UNDER the posted total (46.5).
Reggie Ball completed 14-of-24 passes for 127 yards and was picked off once, and Travis Bell kicked a 33-yard field goal in the win.
Jad Dean kicked three field goals for the Tigers, and Reggie Merriweather rushed for 130 yards on 25 carries.
