Georgia pulls out late win against Georgia Tech

D.J. Shockley hooked up with Bryan McClendon for a 19-yard TD late in the fourth quarter to give the No. 13 Georgia Bulldogs a 14-7 win over the No. 20 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday.

The Bulldogs were pegged as 5-point favorites on the road and made good on covering the spread. The game’s final score fell UNDER the posted total (41).

Brannan Southerland rushed for a TD in the victory. Shockley finished the game with 201 yards passing, a touchdown and an interception.

Reggie Ball completed 18-of-35 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown, and was picked off twice in the loss.
