Big fourth quarter lifts Yellow Jackets
A 21-point fourth quarter from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets was the difference in their 35-20 victory over the Troy Trojans at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets just missed covering the 17.5-point spread at home, but the 55 points scored were OVER the posted total of 38.
Reggie Ball was 13-for-29 for 165 yards, two touchdowns and two picks, and he also rushed for 138 yards on 16 carries. Tashard Choice had 17 rushing attempts for 77 yards and a major for the Yellow Jackets.
Omar Haugabook went 18-for-32 for 181 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, and Gary Banks caught eight balls for 103 yards and a score for the Trojans.
