Knights trounce Bulls to start season

Ray Rice ran for 184 yards and three touchdowns on Thursday night as the Rutgers Scarlet Knights defeated the Buffalo Bulls by a final score of 38-3.

The Knights managed to cover the big 32-point spread in this contest, but the combined score fell UNDER the night’s posted total (50).

Rutgers quarterback Mike Teel went 16-of-23 for 328 yards in the win, throwing two touchdown passes to Tiquan Underwood.

Buffalo’s lone score was a field goal by A.J. Principe in the third quarter.
