Rangers vs Canucks Final: 4-0 - Recap

The battle between the Rangers and Canucks didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Vancouver was handed a 4-0 defeat on Tuesday at Rogers Arena.

Bettors who backed the Rangers were rewarded as +167 underdogs at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 5.5.

New York got goals from Marian Gaborik, Michael Rupp, Brian Boyle, and Ryan McDonagh in the victory. Rupp opened the scoring at 2:22 of the third period.

Henrik Lundqvist turned in a 40-save effort for the Rangers.

Vancouver got a 15-stop effort from Roberto Luongo in the loss.

On the power play, New York went 0-for-4, while the Canucks were 0-for-8 with the man advantage.

Vancouver outshot New York 40-19 in the game.

New York looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Flames. The Canucks will aim to get back on the winning track vs Nashville.
