St. Louis vs Los Angeles Recap - Kings Win 5-0

The battle between the Kings and Blues didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as St. Louis was handed a 5-0 defeat on Tuesday at STAPLES Center.

The Kings were a -135 favorite in the win. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 5.5.

Los Angeles got goals from Simon Gagne (2), Jarret Stoll, Dustin Brown, and Anze Kopitar in the victory. Gagne opened the scoring at 7:20 of the first period.

Jonathan Quick turned in a 27-save effort for the Kings.

St. Louis got a 14-stop effort from Jaroslav Halak in the loss.

On the power play, Los Angeles went 1-for-4, while the Blues were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.

Los Angeles lost the shots on goal battle to St. Louis by a margin of 27-24.

Los Angeles looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Coyotes. The Blues will aim to get back on the winning track vs Carolina.
