Nashville's defense, led by netminder Pekka Rinne, shut down Calgary 2-0 at Scotiabank Saddledome on on Saturday.

Nashville won as a +115 underdog, while Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Nashville got goals from Niclas Bergfors and Sergei Kostitsyn in the victory. Bergfors opened the scoring at 2:34 of the second period.

Pekka Rinne turned in a 33-save effort for the Predators.

Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 12 of 14 shots for the Flames, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Nashville went 0-for-3, while the Flames were 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
