Gators shred Warriors
The fifth-ranked Florida Gators scored four rushing touchdowns as they tore apart the Hawaii Warriors 56-10 Saturday afternoon in their season-opener.
Florida covered the 37-point spread, and the 66 points made it OVER the posted total of 64.
Tim Tebow completed 9-of-14 pass attempts for 137 yards with one TD for the Gators. Jeffrey Demps ran for 76 yards off two carries and scored a touchdown in the win.
Inoke Funaki threw for 110 yards and a touchdown, and Dan Kelly kicked a 30-yard field goal in the loss for Hawaii.
