Recap - Wild Defeat Columbus 4-2

Niklas Backstrom stopped 43 shots against Columbus on Tuesday, leading Minnesota to a 4-2 victory at Nationwide Arena.

Minnesota was an underdog by -102 and came through for bettors backing them. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 5.5.

Matt Cullen, Devin Setoguchi, Cal Clutterbuck, and Nick Johnson each scored for the Wild in the victory. Cullen opened the scoring for Minnesota, finding the back of the net at 10:32 of the second period. The goal was assisted by Kyle Brodziak and Jared Spurgeon.

Columbus outshot Minnesota 45-24 in the game.
