Troy vs Arkansas Recap - Razorbacks Win 38-28
Tyler Wilson was good for 303 yards through the air on Saturday as the Razorbacks got past the Trojans by a score of 38-28 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
Arkansas did not, however, defeat the Trojans against the spread, which closed at 23 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 61.5.
Ronnie Wingo rushed for 109 yards, while Dennis Johnson added 20 yards in the win. Joe Adams and Cobi Hamilton added 109 and 82 receiving yards respectively.
Corey Robinson rushed for 33 yards for Troy, while Shawn Southward added 23 yards. Corey Robinson threw for 373 yards for the Trojans, while receivers Stanley Arukwe and Eric Thomas had 84 and 81 yards respectively.
Troy outgained Arkansas 457-454 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-22 by the Razorbacks.
The time of possession battle favored Arkansas as their offense was on the field for 30:14, longer than the 29:46 of their opponents.
Next game, Arkansas takes its act on the road to face Alabama looking for another win. For Troy, they head home to face Middle Tennessee.
