Nashville Falls 3-2 to Wild - Recap

Minnesota skated to a 3-2 victory over Nashville on Wednesday in NHL action at Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild were a -110 favorite in the win. The combined score pushed PUSH the total, which closed at 5.

Minnesota got goals from Dany Heatley, Kyle Brodziak, and Cal Clutterbuck in the victory. Heatley opened the scoring at 1:05 of the third period.

Josh Harding turned in a 23-save effort for the Wild.

Jordin Tootoo and Ryan Suter scored for the Predators, finding the net behind Josh Harding.

Pekka Rinne stopped 27 of 30 shots for the Predators, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Minnesota went 1-for-6, while the Predators were 1-for-6 with the man advantage.

Nashville lost the shots on goal battle to Minnesota by a margin of 30-25.

Next game, Minnesota takes its act home to face Edmonton looking for another win. For Nashville, they head on the road to face Detroit.
