Knile Davis rushed for 70 yards, while Dennis Johnson added 38 yards in the win. Brandon Mitchell and Chris Gragg added 122 and 110 receiving yards respectively.
Troymaine Pope rushed for 65 yards for Jacksonville State, while DaMarcus James added 44 yards. Marques Ivory threw for 160 yards for the Gamecocks, while receivers Alan Bonner and Telvin Brown had 107 and 42 yards respectively.
Arkansas outgained Jacksonville State 564-322 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-20 by the Razorbacks.
The time of possession battle favored Jacksonville State as their offense was on the field for 34:19, longer than the 25:41 of their opponents.
Arkansas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Louisiana-Monroe. Jacksonville State will aim to get back on the winning track at Florida.
